How do I set a hold?

Use the HOLD feature on the thermostat to allow manual control, or set a light temperature while you are away. This bypasses all the programs and provides a constant temperature permanently until you manually take it out of the HOLD mode again. You can freely adjust the temperature while a hold is active

how to set and use a hold:

1. Press “HOLD” in the lower left hand corner of the display.
2. Now, you can set what temperature you would like to set it at:
3. Touch the big temperature digits on the right with your finger once.
4. You should now see the temperature flashing with the word SET next to it.
5. Quickly, while the number is still flashing, touch the up and down arrows to change the temperature to whatever  you want it to be.  It will now stay at that temperature indefinitely.
6. get it out of HOLD mode, press HOLD again and the unit will go back to Heat Mode or Cool MODE.

Note:  “HOLD” will be displayed at all times in the lower left hand corner; this is your control button. The hold is only active if it says heat/cool hold at the top of the screen.
