Philadelphia, PA, October 16, 2018 – LUX Video Production Specialist and Temple U student Turns Regional Emmy-award Nominee
When others see the talent in a colleague that same way you do, it’s exciting to be a part of. And that’s how LUX feels about Mohab Abou-Elalla. Mohab “Mo” was working on his degree at Temple University here in Philadelphia when we he joined us as a video intern for the summer of 2017. Everyone at LUX loved Mo – and his talent and work ethic impressed us all. This past summer, we saw him spread his wings as he jetted off to an LA internship with TMZ. A very cool and exciting opportunity, that also meant no Mo for the summer at LUX.
So, it’s only fitting that his super video production skills were recognized by Hollywood – at least the Mid-Atlantic arm of Hollywood!
We are proud to announce that Mo was nominated for College/University Student Production under the Arts and Entertainment/Cultural Affairs for the 2018 Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy® Awards. While he didn’t win, we know his future is bright and wide open.
Mo was nominated for his producing role for “World at Temple”- Temple University/TUTV. Here is a link to his segment – https://templetv.net/shows/the-world-at-temple/.
The College/University Production Awards were part of the Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards ceremony that took place in Philadelphia Marriott this past Saturday. Mo, your LUX family is proud of you and always ready to cheer you on!
